From more than 1,600 entries, the expert panel of judges selected 44 Finalists before announcing the Global Winners at the Summit and Gala at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Among the 13 ultimate winners, Sub-Zero Group East took home two prestigious awards: Elizabeth Steimberg of Elizabeth Steimberg Architects won third place for Traditional Kitchen Design and Kerrie Hubener of Dayson’s Kitchen and Bath won third place for Transitional Kitchen Design.

SoHo Loft | Elizabeth Steimberg
In the heart of Soho, a young couple sought to transform their industrial 1960s loft into a traditionally styled apartment. Inspired by classic design elements and driven by their love of fine art, they envisioned a timeless yet practical space. This renovation turned the kitchen into a central feature of the home, merging sophisticated design elements with modern conveniences and flow.

Transitional Kosher Kitchen | Kerrie Hubener
For this residence in Upper Saddle River, NJ, the homeowners envisioned a space where tradition meets modern minimalism, while accommodating the needs of their family’s kosher lifestyle. This design superbly incorporates the nuances of their daily life and culinary rituals — like dual appliances with helpful features and elegant storage solutions — resulting in a sophisticated and efficient kitchen.
