Black Artists + Designers Guild Announces Second Annual BADG Of HONOR

The Black Artists + Designers Guild (BADG) will host their second annual BADG of HONOR, signature fundraiser + awards ceremony on Thursday, November 2, at Samsung 837 in New York. BADG is uniting with the community to celebrate five years of igniting collective action toward building an equitable and inclusive creative culture during an impactful evening to benefit their Education Initiatives with the support of National Media Sponsor Luxe Interiors + Design.

“Founding BADG in 2018 was the culmination of a years-long journey toward discovering what it means to be a Black artist and exploring how identity and heritage connect to my art and design,” shares Black Artists + Designers Guild Founder Malene Barnett. “Today, BADG is a global mission-focused non-profit and a space where Black artists and designers can thrive, connect, and collaborate with creative freedom. During BADG of HONOR, we invite guests to experience our collective impact, celebrate Black imagination and creative leadership, and directly support our educational initiatives, which includes our forthcoming Legacy Makers Grant.”
